As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. They are not designed for regular highway driving. The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. This prevents the road and tread pattern noise from generating while the tires are in motion, which guarantees a comfortable driving experience. The tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint without allowing them to come into contact with the tread elements. The tread design lowers the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin preventing its formation. The improved all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance boost the year round performance. The wide groove design enhances the water and slush dispersing capability, which effectively resists hydroplaning. The compound maintains its flexibility in colder temperatures, while firmly gripping the road surface to ensure an increased performance. The optimal siping detail enhances the winter weather traction as well. The tread pattern upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The reinforced structure prevents the deformity of the tire's optimal shape during the drive, which improves its load carrying and withstanding capability. The strengthened construction also upgrades the driving and load durability. ![]() The tire's internal structure also manages to prevent punctures from shortening the tire's service life. The model's stronger DuraGen compound further improves the damage resistance by preventing off-road damage from harming the tire's casing. In this manner, the tread prevents the footprint from being blocked from its contact with the tread elements, while also actively resisting stone retention from harming the tire's casing. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. The staggered tread elements also manage to maintain a clean footprint. The staggered tread elements, wide grooves and open shoulder pattern upgrade the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction, while they also ensure a safer on-road drive. The longer your home is on the market, the lower your odds are of selling it for listing price. And if that time comes, it’s best to act quickly. The amount you discount can be decided later, because it might change based on feedback you receive from home tours, but you should at least have a date in mind. Set a timeline for a price reductionīefore you list, take a hard look at your timeline and decide on a day to lower your price if you haven’t received any offers. But price it at just $405,000, and it’ll never show up in their search results. For example, if you list your home for $399,000, it’ll show up in search results for anyone that’s looking for homes under $400,000. When setting a price, you also may want to consider the price points that the majority of buyers search for within in your area. The effectiveness of this strategy depends on the state of your local real estate market and how homes are selling in your area. You may even want to price your home a little lower than comparable homes in your area to drum up interest and cause a bidding war. Overpricing will lead to more time on the market, and ultimately, you may end up selling at that lower price anyway - it’ll just take you longer to get there. One thing that can really speed your selling process is pricing your home competitively. Even if you’re selling in a sellers market, where there are many buyers competing for fewer homes, selling your house fast isn’t a guarantee. You can sell quickly by auctioning off your home, but you are likely to sell for a lower price than on the local market.Īccording to the Zillow Group Report, 21 percent of sellers said that their biggest challenge was selling within their desired time frame. This is usually only an option if your home is a teardown and/or on a large lot. There are numerous reasons why selling to an investor may be a good fit, but there are potential trade-offs to keep in mind. If you want to completely bypass the preparation it takes to sell your house in a hurry, consider these alternative strategies: Of course, you’ll have to pay them a 3 percent commission for their services. They’ll streamline things like contract prep work, negotiations, signing and closing. The upside to hiring a professional real estate agent is that they know what it takes to get a house sold quickly in your area. Knowing the ins and outs of the process is especially important if you need to sell your house fast. But if you want to sell fast on your own, you’ll have to be prepared to negotiate like a pro.īe ready to negotiate escrow timelines, juggle contract paperwork, and consult an attorney to make sure all forms are filled out correctly. One of the big benefits to selling on your own is that you save on the commission (you’ll save the 3 percent you’d pay your own agent, but you’ll still have to pay 3 percent to the buyer’s agent). When deciding how to list your home, there are two conventional sales options - selling for sale by owner (FSBO) or with a real estate agent - and a few alternatives. Since you’re short on time, consider calling in some professionals. Do a deep clean on every room of the house, including baseboards, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tile and carpets.Personal belongings, like family photos, keepsakes and religious items, distract buyers and prevent them from picturing themselves living in the home. After all, 64 percent of buyers surveyed for the Zillow Group Consumer Housing Trends Report 2018 said that ample storage was extremely or very important. Don’t cram extra belongings into closets - leave enough open space to give the impression that the home has plenty of storage. Buyers are looking for storage space, so they’re definitely going to peek in closets, storage areas and pantries. Get a storage unit and pack away any extra belongings or large furnishings that are making rooms look crowded, small or messy. There are many strategies for selling a house fast, but when you’re short on time, one definite must is making your home’s interior appeal to as many buyers as possible. ![]() Whether you need to sell quickly for a new job, for financial reasons or because of a personal situation, there are a few tactics you can use to increase your home’s marketability, decrease your time on the market and attract strong offers. Yes, the game was designed around these physics, and they work for that purpose. ![]() This hack has one major issue that affects the entire game, the physics. Most of us got our start in hacking because of this hack, and it should be thanked for that. Read More First off, I will say this is a hack everyone should at least play once. For me, though, it was an abysmal execution of some really cool ideas. It's fine for some, I know a couple people that replayed it dozens of times. I'm not big on needless challenge, which Redesign seemed to have a lot of. I do not consider myself a bad player, although I obviously don't have the level of skill that this apparently required. And the Escape Sequence, holy crap, I think it lasted like 25 minutes which was ridiculous. I don't think I ever managed to beat the original Redesign, but I watched a few friends play it, so I know what an ordeal Tourian and Maridia were. That's not a bad thing, of course, it's just very noticeable. Including the way bombs work and a specific Energy Tank. It was clear that Drew likes Metroid Prime, because there's quite a few elements taken right out of the game. I actually ended up being good at bomb jumping in Redesign as an alternative to wall-jumping. Play the game at 75% or so for better reaction time, drop it further as needed. I had to slow the game down to around 25% or less, and that was effectively the way I played a fair portion of Redesign when I finally returned to it about 5 or so years ago. I mean, it looks so good, and that makes it all the more frustrating that I literally could not even get out of the room with the Wall Jump Boots. It was essentially unplayable in my eyes, and I was confused that people were not only able to actually survive the physics changes, but also get some sort of enjoyment out of the game's madness. OVERALL, I feel the negative parts of the hack outshine the fun that you could have otherwise, which is a shame, considering how much work and how polished the game is. tourian is hard as shit, and made me rage quit my first time playing looking forever and a half for chozo guardians, since the hack is so large, and you get next to no clues sand in maridia makes getting around really hard wasting time with pointless lost caverns section that isn't fun gauntlets of death that makes playing console condition next to impossible ![]() spend a large amount of time to get an item, and it only adds 1 to your ammo total enemies are too hard far too often, you never really feel like your OP until the end of the game the physics are not very fun, gravity is too heavy when you finally beat it, its a rewarding experience, with how hard it can be lots of polish in the hack make it look professional It's a fine game, and has some rewarding experiences, such as: It expands the size of the game to three to four times the size of the original. It's an amazingly large overhaul of the game, and even today, we are only just now getting to the level of polish that was in this game. Read More This was my first hack, and is what got me into Super Metroid hacking. It might be worth that if you like a Super Metroid hack that makes you suffer. Its biggest saving graces are Screw Attack as soon as you attain Speedbooster (normally required to reach Draygon in progression post-Space Jump) and Tourian is right to the point (if not still a savestateathon because the Metroids are always on you and you don't have enough bombs worth dealing with them). You will suffer through a mandatory heatrun, fall in lava and not be able to get out, explore Norfair and not be able to get out, explore lower Norfair and be unceremoniously booted back to upper Norfair, enjoy no hints and have to search out all of the major items yourself, and lose plenty of health trying to screw attack grounded foes in lower Norfair (don't touch Ridley btw). You can read why in my Axeil review, but between this version and Axeil this version of Redesign has some of the dumbest design decisions, particularly late game (some of them are fixed in Axeil, thankfully in regards to filler Chozo guardian placement). Play Axeil, and then rip the band-aid off when you get to Tourian (aka dump your rom in the trash). UPDATED REVIEW, DATED 12/22/22: Don't play this. Still, it's worth checking out as a solid release and a experience you will likely never forget - good and bad. ![]() The physics fight you, there are great places to get stuck X-Ray won't help you out of, and Sidehoppers will try to shank you with impunity. ![]() Read More ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's the granddaddy of major hacks, alright. He feels more like the afterthought, attached to give the game some notoriety because Nintendo couldn’t figure out how to make F.L.U.D.D. is the focus of Mario’s move set but it makes the whole game feel like Mario was never the originally intended protagonist. Sunshine Mario has less than half of those moves and resembles his appearances in New Super Mario Bros. Super Mario 64 taught us just how many ways Nintendo wanted you to be able to jump, punch, slide, and flip to get to each ledge. Sunshine is the strangest game in the Super Mario series because of how little agency they give Mario in this game. It was absolutely a welcome switch from the pressure sensitive R button and while it may be a bit weird at first, getting used to it will vastly improve your opinion on this game’s spraying controls. Having it divided between 2 buttons really helped me conquer more obstacles and felt like it controlled very well. While we may be missing the Pressure Sensitive R button for different levels of spraying, the system by which they split run-and-spray and stand-and-spray between ZR and R respectively is one of the greatest changes to this game. ![]() Super Mario Sunshine FEELS like a game for the Nintendo Switch. As it stands, you'll have to stick a streaming stick into one of the HDMI ports. I would have appreciated more HDMI ports (it has two), and I think BenQ missed an opportunity by not including in-built streaming options like Nebula. For a start, I wasn't keen on the design: the electric blue and white colour scheme looks cheap, even childish, and the plastic chassis picks up dirt quickly. The ambient sounds in Planet Earth II made me feel like I was in the rainforest. The system has been designed for watching sports, so that the viewer feels like they're in the stadium – but I’d argue it’s more impressive for nature documentaries. It’s loud, it’s detailed, and it’s incredibly immersive. Many home projectors have built-in speakers, but not many are as good at projecting sound as they are images. The sound quality also deserves a mention. ![]() You can also create your own settings, allowing you to create a custom brightness and colour setting to suit your needs, just like on a standard television. The TK800 comes with four different modes: standard, Vivid TV, Cinema, Sport, and Football, each gradually cranking up the brightness that bit more. I was similarly dazzled by the product's 'cinema mode'. The colours, which had been great in standard mode, suddenly popped even brighter, even more vividly. (See: I told you these things have got better.) So, no more having to draw the curtains in the middle of the day to be able to see your projected movie. ![]() The HDR colours are vivid, the 4K definition is sharp, and the 3,000 lumen LED bulbs are not only bright enough to project in the daytime, but they’re bright enough to project well in direct sunlight too. The quality of the projection on the TK800 is scorchingly brilliant. I know, I know, a bold statement, but I stand by it. The BenQ Tk800 is one of the latter – it’s much too heavy to be moving around all the time. But that’s alright because, you know what? This projector is better than your television. I’ve had to tone it down for publication but suffice to say, I am really, really impressed with the BenQ Tk800.īroadly speaking, you find two types of home projectors: portable ones that you can take from room to room, and bigger, more permanent units. In general, I'm pleased to report that the average projector is very good: I was impressed with the majority that I reviewed. In fact, the quality of the images from the home cinemas that I tested were comparable to best 4k TVs on the market. Well, good news: they're better than that now. Early adopters of home projectors will likely call to mind heavy boxes that emitted a dim and fuzzy picture while internal cooling fans whirred so loudly you could barely hear yourself think. ![]() While home cinemas used to be the preserve of the extraordinarily wealthy, over the years, the price of the best projectors has come down significantly, allowing basically anyone with an empty wall to get the movie experience at home.Īnd it's not just the price that's improved. ![]() There may not be any HDMI loop out port though.
